Sopa Vasca
INGREDIENTS:
- bread
- clams or mussels
- diced ham
- onion
- white wine
- bay leaf
- parsley
- garlic
- thyme
- olive oil
- salt
PREPARATION:
chop and fry the onion, garlic, and ham in olive oil. stir well until the onion begins to brown, then add the clams, white wine bay leaf, fresh thyme and enough water to cover by an inch. cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until clams open and serve over toasted bread, garnished with parsley.
